Photographer's Note
Another view from the gate .
I should explain ,it's not the city of NBam ( which WAS an ordinary city) ,but it's an ancient city beside Bam , called " Arg of Bam " in Farsi.
Ir's origin is dated to 2225 years ego ,'cause it's rebuilt & expanded during centuries .
Bam's Citadel is the greatest & most ancient complex (of sun-dried brick ) in the world, a precious cultural heritage.
sorry if the picture's quality isn't so fine !
One more thing : I'd like to thank you all for your kindness & your humanitarian aids on behalf of all iranians. These wonderful attentions, make me feel we all are connected .... in this world

We are all connected with the world. We are the world Fariba, and we make the world. One kind off people knows what it is to feel sadness, they feel hunger, and the other side off the people have a good life. But I think what is a good life. Poor people can have also a good life. It's what you made from your life. Nice old photo Fariba, know that you stand not alone in the world, there are always people who care's about others.

Don't worry about the quality of your picture, you gave us a good comment of this fantastic place.
At the time when I write to you, the television news of France 3 is showing a report on the citadel of Bam.

The only thing I can say.. I strongly HOPE that all the countries in the world will unite to reconstruct this old city.. What happened is terrible....

Fariba, your sharing of the pictures from Bam is among the most poignant moments I remember here on TrekEarth. I deeply sympathize with this terrible loss, and my thoughts are with the tens of thousands who lost their lives in this terrible incident.

Iran could be one of my favourite places in the world to be visited. In general I like nature things more, but in Iran my priority would be people and their beautiful deeds (nature too, of course).
In this picture I like the defect - the small "stars" in the sky - of course the other things as well. This makes this picture look like a 1001 night illustration. Sorry for my stereotype-thinking about Iran :).
I am glad that also my country (although the poorest in EU) found a possibility to assist Iran a little as well. You yourselves are able to cope with any problems, but for us, others it is important to feel - we are together :)

Bien vue

Hi Fariba,
I have heard that this city has been devastated because of the earthquake, is it true? If so, I am sorry...

Nice composition. The sky colours are great but the colours of the City are a bit faded so I made a slight WS
