Photographer's Note

Taken last weekend at Pondfield Cove on the Jurassic Coast. A stunning little bay that receives so little attention from tourists and photographers alike. As its so closed in by the cliffs its very difficult to take a sunset or sunrise here, as your grad filters which control the sky also darken the cliffs. I used a light grad filter here and then lightened the cliffs up a bit more in PS so the detail was apparent in them. HDR would work here, but I havent tried out this technique yet, and also I think multiple images might have a strange effect on the water.

Dinosaur footprints have been found in Pondfield Cove in the past, but I think they may have eroded away by now, as Ive never been able to find them, which is a shame.
