Photographer's Note
Taken before sunrise this morning in Dorset. This is the start (or end) of the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site, which spans 95 miles from Dorset to Devon and includes an amazing variety of rocks from the Triassic, Jurassic and Cretaceous periods.
This site, Old Harry Rocks, features steep chalk cliffs from the Cretaceous, but only about 5 miles further along the coast, the rocks are completely different and from the Jurassic period. So theres always so much variety to offer the photographer.
Exposure: 100 seconds @ F22 @ ISO 100

Hello Adam,
The light is extremely beautiful in your photo. I thought that maybe you could have avoided including the grassy part in the frame. Best regards,

I have got to visit this place - so beautiful and dramatic. Great use of the wide angle to bring a sense of depth and 3 dimensions to this, with the foreground grass making it seem almost like we are there. Great colour transitions too. Superb!

Hi Adam!
Beautiful picture, masterfully taken! Stunning POV and great framing. And this is a true LONG exposure....I guess that's why the colors are so amazing, so unusual, so unrealistic! Wonderful, a kind of sum up of a 100 seconds' sunrise within a unique picture

Amazing place Adam.
Very nice composition and colours.
There are two things I don't like.
One is the barrel distortion visible on the horizon. I don't remember if I told you one day about it but PTLens plugin can sort it out very easily. Second thing is the sky - personaly I don't think you need so much of it in the frame. I would crop it from the top (just a little above this nice glow) as it looks a bit distracting to me now.
Great quality anyway - 5D shines here.
What about dust marks on the sensor when using such a large aperture ?

Stunning shot. Thanks for the technical tip, although, what I find most difficult, is to wake up before sunset ;)

Superb exposure Adam and the still pre-dawn conditions have enabled you to render the grasses sharply even at a 100 second exposure. The blend of subtle sky colours is most beautiful and a well deserved prize for your early rising.
