Photographer's Note
Actually its a holly tree - if you look closely you might just about be able to make out all the red berries.
This was taken just before Christmas in the cold snap we were having. The sky was terrific and really complimented the frosty landscape below.
This tree has been partially grazed into its distinctive shape by the ponies which roam free in the New Forest.

if you didn't edit much there you have some GREAT PICTURE! the detail of the tree is so.... detailed and the sunset... beautiful.

Hello Adam. I have to compliment you on this wonderful landscape capture here. The timing for capturing the frost on the ground was perfect, and the placement of the tree to the right allows a long view into the distance. Very good exposure control here too showing good color in the sky above and yet visible details clearly seen across the land. Good work.. indeed!
