Photographer's Note
Another "weird" architecture shot - this time Birmingham Selfridges building, which is part of the Bullring shopping centre.
This building was designed by Czech architect Jan Kaplicky and his Future Systems studio. More information about this building and also about his work can be found here: http://www.future-systems.com/architecture/architecture_03.html
When I saw this building for first time I thought it was really weird especially because it is located next to an old church but the more I look at it the more I like it.
This time I used f/11 to keep it sharp from bottom to top and think it paid off.

Hi Ondrej,
Great point of view resulting with this interesting image. This really doesn't look as a building but more like strange structure covered with giant buttons :)
I think it would be a good idea to crop the photo from the left (to remove the blue object) and to convert it into B&W - thta way the graphic effect would be stronger.

GREAT SHOT! I love the composition and perspective. The eye can't help but follow the repetitions out to the sky. Wish that object on the left wasn't there, but maybe that couldn't be helped. It may also benefit from a dash of contrast and/or brightness. A favorite.

Buona Sera Ondrej,
The release is very interesting and fascinating.
I have seen the rest of the building "a strange snail that stirs in the city."
Complimenti

Good viewpoint - highlighting the curved design of the building. Your choice of an f/11 aperture also seems wise here as the sharpness is good throughout the image.

Hi Ondrej
i really like the momvement and repetition and curves u've got here, as if as these circular shapes gonna fly in the sky... very powerfll point of view... i only wished if u cropped that blue thing from the left...

This is a great shot with a great angle putting drama into the photo. Very well captured with the eye and the camera. I have posted a workshop suggesting a few thing to improve light and focus. Anyways a fine shot. Regards Jens
