Photographer's Note
Fair Head is one of the great headlands of Ireland, its sheer face rising some 600 feet above sea level, making it Northern Ireland’s tallest cliff face. Its impressive profile can be seen from Ballycastle and many other points along the North Coast.
The gentler slopes and wooded areas of Murlough Bay to the east provide a contrast to the starkness of Fair Head.

A beautiful sky is always a wonderous thing and here you captured it well. The point of view is good the way the stones give in to the green and the to he blye,
The crispness of the photo is beauiful and makes me want to take a great big breath and relax.

I've never been lucky enough to visit Ireland (yet!) but your shots make it look so inviting! Another beautiful piece of work, with the huge cliff face and lighting presenting a very dramatic scene. I like the way the rocks in the foreground add a sense of depth and also seem to lead our eyes around toward the cliffs. Well done!

Hi Stephen,
You have captured a really love piece of Irish countryside. I like the great contrast between the overcast sky and the lush green of the scarps, and that lovely patch of flowers in the foreground.

This one really works for me, Steve. I love the soft green, contrasted with the color and texture of the rock. You've rendered great texture in the sea and sky, too. My eye runs up and to the right and then closes a loop, and I like that a lot. Really engaging!

P.S. Some dodging or burning here to get all of those contrasts maximized?
