Photographer's Note
Shot at Praa Sands Cornwall last night. The receding water produced a nice effect.
I could not decide whether or not to clone out the surfers that became blurred by the long exposure. I decided to leave them in to give a sense of scale. What do you think?
I used f11 which seems to be the sweat spot of my sigma lens. This resulted in an exposure of three seconds with the ND grad and polarizer on.

Hi Ian,
Lovely image, the effect of the water from the long exposure is wonderful! Love the soft colours and the clump of seeweed I think adds to the pic. TFS :-)
Cheers Tina

Very good landscape.
I like this tiny tracks of waves coming on and out of shore and embracing this driftwood in front.
I don't think that surfers are of any signifacance for this photo because they are very small, and with or without theme photo have same impact and quality.

Not sure about the surfers but the effect caused by the receeding is excellent. Wonderful image Ian.
