Photographer's Note
I belong to a walking group and most Sunday's we head out for a 10 mile walk. This week our start point was Knaresborough where this photograph was taken.
The viaduct spans the River Nidd, is 90ft high and 338ft long. It was built in 1851 and designed to take the Victorian rail traffic over the Nidd Gorge.

Hello Denise,
A nice composition with good detail on the bridge, the only thing the scene lacks is a bit of colour, i wonder what it would look like at sunrise or sunset? Thanks for sharing.

Hi, Denise. A nice view of this Victorian bridge. The reflections on the water are interesting and the perspective quite good with the river leading us naturally to the bridge. The photo lacks a little bit of punch, so I've made a workshop to illustrate what I mean. Tell me what you think of it.

Hi,
Great subject, I love these things. Environmentally friendly natural materials, will last for ever if looked after and asthetically (sp?) pleasing. Good composition. Needs a wee touch of detail I think. Thanks.
Dougie.

Hi Denise.
The point of view is very good. It call us the attention to the bridge.
I'll would enhance the contrast and gamma correction.. but it's only a matter of opinion..

Hi Denise....
Beautiful shot of a very attractive place. The reflection of the bridge is perfect and you've handled the light extremely well. Good work.
Regards,
Paul.
