El Castell de Eilean Donan, des d'una altre vista. Per mi és el castell més ben conservat i extraordinari que vaig veure a Escòcia.
The Castle of Eilean Donan, from another view. For me it is the castle better conserved and more extraordinary than I saw in Scotland.
PS: Adjust levels separatly: sky (the most), castle and water reflections to "incrust" the castle into the scene and change a lot the tipycal scotish sky. Polarizer helps too.

Beautiful work Jordi! The aggressive clouds funtion great here as a contrast with the calming mirror effect. And the castle seems pleasantly sandwiched between those two elements of nature ;-) Impressive colour toning too. Congrats!

WOW! Striking, indeed! Eilean Donan is one of my favourite castles, too, and you captured it extremely well. I really like what you did to the original image; it seems almost like a painting now. Well done!

Spectacular place and building. The cloud is impressive and the mirror effect is beautiful.
The photo is a little bit grainy but I think that suits the subject.
Nice colours.

I like the castle and the composition of the picture. But on hte technical side, the picture seems to be poor. They is a lot of mark in hte sky ( scan?). The grass on the back seems to be to much sharpened. The castle and the land around are all grey.

Your postprocessing work emphasized the speciality of the castle and the place, the clouds and the reflection adds a lot to it.

Muy buen trabajo. El reflejo del castillo en el agua es interesante porque esas cosas que flotan obstruyen un poco la vista, como para que uno se fije en el castillo mismo. El grass verde tiene unas franjas más amarillas, ¿será por el sol? Da un buen efecto. Y las nubes... súper bien. Parecería que en un rato llega una tormenta con esas nubes.
El cielo no se ve tan azul, más bien un poco grisáceo. Debe ser por el polarizador; un buen efecto. Excelente foto.

Un paisaje increíble, Jordi; no me extrañaría nada que te compraran los derechos de esta foto para anunciar alguna marca de Whisky ;-) Supongo que el elemento más desconcertante es que el cielo tiene un tono más oscuro que el agua, algo que nuestro ojo no está acostumbrado a ver normalmente. Yo habría probado el efecto contrario, para que el castillo contrastara más con el cielo. Una gran foto, en todo caso

Saw already pictures of that castle before; great structure. Good composition you have here; reflection is nice too + dramatic clouds. The quality is the picture is unfortunately a bit less.

Your photo reminds me of a calendar that I bought a couple of years back which contained a photo of the same castle and I think also from the same perspective. Good shot of the reflection.
