Coming off the Solway shore after haaf net fishing. Haaf net fishing is particular to the Solway Firth. This type of fishing is said to have been introduced by the vikings. Haaf is believed to be a viking word.

Hi Bev, Good action working composition with note explaining what we can see here. Solway is a famous company name, guess they started here in soda ash etc. Good photo. Murray.
