Photographer's Note

Sir Christopher Wren's Tom Tower, which is over the gatehouse, houses the seven ton bell known as Great Tom.
Every night Tom strikes 101 times at five-past-nine. Originally the college had 101 students, and they all had to be in by 9pm Oxford time. Oxford time was 5 minutes later than Greenwich Mean Time. The tradition has continued ever since.
The great quad in the front is known as "Tom Quad"
