Photographer's Note
Pontcysyllte Aqueduct
Llangollen canal
The aqueduct, taking the Llangollen Canal over the beautiful River Dee valley, is 1000 feet long and 125 feet high.
I don’t normally experience vertigo but there is something about the layout of the narrow towpath and the unguarded right-hand side that unnerves me a bit!

I've always been fascinated by this idea of rivers (or canals) in the sky since I was a lad but have never taken in this view of one - I think I can understand your sense of vertigo! Next time I'm in Llangollen............
Photographically I think you could closer crop - the sky out maybe Bill but just an option.
best wishes Kev

I know the feeling as I have walked along here on more than one occasion, then again if you are in one of the narrowboats the feeling must be even worse. It is a pity that the shot although well composed does not really do the aqueduct justice,I feel you need nore contrast and saturation to add impact to the shot and contrast with some of the background haze,I have posted a Workshop and would value your comments
