Photographer's Note
Hi everyone, here is my first ever attempt at night photography, the photo is of part of an aluminium smelter called 'British Alcan' which is situated next to a village called 'Lynemouth'. I chose this particular part of the smelter as it has an unusual look about it, and also the rest of the smelter looked kind of ordinary, to me it looks like it has something to do with NASSA and the space shuttle, i used the power lines as a lead in line for the eye, let me know what you think.
Thanks

A great picture. I really like it. It's not very often industry looks good in a photo, but you've managed to do it here. As you say, it looks almost NASA / Area 51 / Roswell, because of the structures and colours. If you look closely to the right of the 'building' just above the pipeline, there appears to be a glowing figure. The comp works well with the silouhette of the power lines on the left, and the bright lights on the right. Well done.
Alex.
