Photographer's Note
I am not sure of the actual title of this piece of sculpture.
The shot was taken in one of the gardens of Longleat stately home.

The colors are fantastic!
What a light and mystic scenery you shot there!

Hi Stephen,
Sorry for my near four weeks delay in critiques and posts to TE members, but life is life. Excelent close-up sculpture approach and depth image. All is very well focused. Fine light management and also a good angle of view.
Very well seen and composed.
Best to you.

I like the formal treatment of this, with the perfect hedges in the background. I think I might have preferred this perfectly centred, but on the other hand, the slight offset of the statue in front and the one in the background is more interesting and gives a slight imperfection that is more beautiful than a perfectly symmetrical shot would be. Well done!

It is an interesting sculpture and a fun title for it. Your point of view seems very well chosen with a near symmetrical view but slightly off so it engages. The color of that grass is beautiful, and so are its textures. And that contrast very nicely with the sculpture. As with your other art piece shots you have framed this one well with the bushes and perspective. And I like how the area beyond the path in back seems to be a painting on a wall because of the different light there so it nicely stops the eye while engaging it. Nicely done Stephen.
