Photographer's Note
The Cornewall Arms is a pub in the village of Clodock in Herefordshire. It is a fine example of how English pubs used to be. The only food served is crisps, nuts and pickled eggs. Some draught beer and local bottled beer is served. There is no music only the gentle buzz of conversation. There are a number of traditional pub games such as darts and skittles. There is only one room and a back room from where drinks are served over a hatch. Walls adorned with old photos and seating is a mix of styles. The landlad, who was born there, is delightful. A real treat to find such a place in this day and age.

HI David,a great gift for a bartender like me Beautiful leap into the past, everything has remained as it once was, lots of beer and a few snacks as in the old tradition, this interior is a museum, remarkable and pleasant even a stop in the garden as I see in the WS together wide view. Hello David,
I have seen a number of English pubs but this looks very different. Maybe those I frequented in the 1960's were already too trendy or posh. This looks more like somebody's very large sitting-room. The WS are interesting complements.

What a delightful picture and note about this old pub. I like simple sittings and table. I have never eaten pickled eggs. Nice old photos on the walls.
