Photographer's Note
Recently I have been sharing lots of pictures of works of art from an Annual exhibition that is held inside and in the grounds of this house, Delamore House.
In some of the shots the house or a part of it has been in the background, so today I thought that I would show you the building in its entirety.
"The present Delamore, the fourth house to be built on the Estate, was commissioned by Admiral Parker and built in 1859.
Delamore has remained in the same family since 1688."

Somehow I got this shot with very few, if any people in it. Usually there are plenty of people to be seen strolling around the grounds and enjoying the art.
Entry is by ticket. Each year a charity is chosen from which proceeds from sales of the artworks is donated.

Hello Jean,
This is a fantastic environment for watching sculptures, and you managed to include a few of them here. I hesitated for a second or two if the beautiful dog was real, but decided tat in such a case it wouldn't have been allowed to run around freely among the guests. The WS confirms my conclusion. You placed the interesting white sculpture well in the foreground corner.

A beautiful photo of this large house, you captured it from a good angle, which includes the two works of art very well in the foreground, too. The house is nicely surrounded by all those large and smaller trees as well.

You uploaded a very nice view of this large mansion giving to itself the look of a magnificent castle secluded on vast lands.
An elegant artwork stands on the left-hand side and contributes to the imaginary line linking it to the Delamore House for a pleasing visual balance.
Beware of dog next time you step on these premises :)

I am glad that not only I learn from you or from Bev about the UK but also my photos show some new aspects of your country. This is a great satisfaction to discover unknown to "locals" areas.
Nice mansion and I was looking for a while at the dog trying to figutre out whether it is a real dog. Of course your workshop explained it all.

Hello Jean,
The house, where the artwork has been exhibited, is a very grand building! I am surprised how many such huge buildings have remained, so well preserved.
You have used the artwork well, to create a fine sense of depth, on a diagonal, from the l/h corner.
The sunlight was absent but has not affected the clarity or colours of your photograph.
