Photographer's Note

Good Morning Everyone,

Just a quick return to Ely Cathedral, to share this photograph of the tomb of John Tiptofy,[1375-1442] who lies between his two wives in a pious pose typical of the Age of Chivalry.

I really liked how from this quite low viewpoint, the reclining statues could be shown with a backdrop of golden screens, splaying columns and stained glass windows.

Please see the workshop. which reveals other artisan work.

Have a lovely day, Bev :-)
