Photographer's Note

In my previous photo, which presented a beach in Redcar I referred to the neighbouring Saltburn as having a nicer beach with all the industrial elements left in the distance. Here you are, this is a view from Saltburn. I have showed already a view of this pier in the context of the cable car. Here a simple focus on the pier with its buildings which houses a little gambling temple. As mentioned before North East England offers a lot of wide open spaces. Ironically, on the same day some newspapers have mentioned Saltburn as being overcrowded. You can judge by yourself. I think in the quarantine, English people miss rather closed pubs than closed beaches. If you think that the pier seems quite far from the sea you should check my other photo where the low tide was even more extreme with the sea further away:
