Hello Ike,
The small colourful boats form a very nice foreground as they are attached to the yellow bollards on the pier. Further back there is a pleasant view of the green and brown fields on the hillside. The view is generally attractive and this well exposed photo probably does it full justice.

Hi Ike,
Colourful autumn view from Isly of Skye. Good micture of browns and greens. Good angle for showing those boats from front. Low tide adds some depth to this view!

Hi Ike,

The length of the pier is givng depth to the composition. The point of view is showing the details of the fishing boast and of the house in the background. The light is giving good colours rendering. Have a nice day.

Hello Ike,
The boats look really small compared to the high quayside. Along with the blue containers and the yellow elements on the right hand side, they add some bright colours to the more natural tones in the background. The photo is very well composed.

hello Ike,

I like how you have given us two scenes (that of the docks and the green sloping hilside to pretty cottages) which are so different and yet, as a Scottish Isle, they fit together without further consideration!
Your well chosen angle guides inwards effectively, with plenty of time to peruse the boats as well as the pretty countryside.
A well exposed photograph!

To be honest, I have no idea how to pronounce the name of this place. But I realize all too well that also in my mother tongue there are a lot less common sounds.
Nice combination of the fisheries, agriculture and the livestock on this small island.
Pretty combination of colours too.
Excellent clarity and depth.

yes, I remember this village, very charming in its own sort of way. looks like you got the typical kind of atmosphere, kind of grey but still bright. its not too often the sun really shines through.

right away I notice the depth in the photo, thats its best quality. your shot is very clear and sharp too, lots of details. really like the subject material as well, its got alot going for it

I like the tight crop with no sky. The brown and green vegetation makes a great bg to the fishing boats and grey-blue water.

I didn't see much Scotland yet but this view resembles Ireland very much with the colorful boats, sheep in the field.
