Photographer's Note

Good Morning Everyone,

This is a view along the beach at Burnham-on-Sea.

I just loved the merging lines of the steps and the curve of the sea wall. For me, they were great features to contrast with the the colourful, more irregular shapes of the background town.

Burnham-on-Sea is a town in Somerset, at the mouth of the River Parrett and Bridgwater Bay. It was a small fishing village until the late 18th century, when it began to grow because of its popularity as a seaside resort.

So early in the season, there were not many people around but, I suppose, in England, it would not be anticipated that a temperature of 17C would be experienced in March!

Thank you for your interest.
Have a good day, Bev :-)
