Hello Brian,
The expansive view and the soft light are the two elements that immediately strike one.
I love how the gentle undulations of the field are so beautifully defined and are an excellent prelude to the well positioned, terracotta roofed house.
This is a warm, friendly face of England, sheep grazing, almost beginning to show signs of awakening from winter's sleep!

I looks like a summer scene , after harvest ! Only the naked trees show us that we are in winter . A superb view with the big mansion as a very attractive point .

Placing the focal point centre frame often does not work, but here there is no doubting that it does! Beautiful warm lights and colours with the ploughed fields creating a wonderful feeling of depth. Superb clarity. Have a great weekend.

This is a lovely countryside view. Very good POV composed of the centrally located small house on a hill and the field with sheeps in the foreground. Nice natural colours.

I can imagine this landscape with a snow cover, this is a winter time but the winter is simply warm, an attractive photo with great light and a very good composition

Hello Brian,
Farming has made the Downs what they are and I find the gently undulating fields very beautiful. The lines in the field give a very pleasant pattern and I love the way the sheep are dotted around in a more random way. The house makes a centre of interest and fortunately has some lovely earthy colours. Gorgeous light and a picture that reminds me of what a wonderful county we live in.

That's a beautiful chocolate box style house, and it's rust colors are the perfect compliment to the yellow gold tones of the field, where the light has created a great play of design. Taking in the silver blue sky, there is a fantastic array of colors here and it takes a few moments to appreciate them all.

I like the warm cold colour contrast between the blue sky and the straw yellow fields. Good sharpness, framing and saturation. The 2 story farmhouse cottage with the red roof makes a fine focal point. Tfs!

Hello Brian - I have been attempting to comment on your last upload without any success... TE is riddled with problems at the moment. This shot is also beautiful with the rolling landscape and distant red-roofed house and village church making a lovely subject.
