A bit early in the year for bluebells, but I see this capture is from last year:-) The framing is very clever, creating a wonderful and succinct impression of a bluebell wood. Beautiful warm lights and colours; superb clarity.

hi brian,
thoughts are already turning to spring with this one. the composition is superb with the vertical lines creating a strong visual presence. the colourful bluebells in the foreground add that extra element to the image to make it stand out.

Hello Brian,
Roll on spring and the re-emergence of the spring flowers. This is a lovely reminder of what is to come. When I take pictures of woods I find the photos look 'disorganised' but this one is super with those straight tree trunks giving a pattern. The bluebells at the base are more diffuse and contrast very well with the trunks. Delightful light and saturated colours.

Hello Brian,
As I sit here in freezing cold Lanark with the snow and slush all around, this cheers me up and makes me think that Spring is, perhaps, not that far away.
This is another of your wonderful images of bluebells, something which I've struggled to capture on several occasions but I've never really managed to get the colours right and I'm not quite sure why. My bluebells always seem to appear magenta and not really blue at all - perhaps I need to experiment again this coming Spring!
As always, the light here is delicious, not only on that lovely carpet of bluebells but particularly on the rough trunks of the trees, the colours are wonderfully vibrant and the details and sharpness are exquisite.
