Photographer's Note
Lately I have been doing a lot of Night Sky photography and this is one of the most recent shots that i got :)
The church was built in the 13th century but collapsed in 1703 leaving behind just the tower that you can see in this image.
This was taken with a Tokina 11-16mm at f2.8, ISO 4000, exposed for 25 seconds.

Hello Jamie,
That's a nice picture, with a nice mily way, even if I think that you could have try a shorter exposure time. Some stars seem to be a small line instead of a spot, especially on the left and the right part of the picture.

Hi Jamie
Very nice attempt at night sky photography. At 25 sec, even with wide angle lens, some star movement will be visible but I don't think it really matters. I like the colours in the sky, sometimes a bit of light pollution is a good thing.
Best wishes
Kasia

Hi Jamie,
A truly beautiful shot, the majestic heavens look superb here, and the ground level scenery is almost as magical. Really impressive, thanks for sharing.
All the best

hi Jamie, Wow last time I saw the milky way I was on holiday in australia, Love the foreground in this shot and i like the long exposure I disagree with other comments about having a longer exposure time, I think you have got it spot on
