The black cuillins are probably the most spectacular mountain range in Britian. As we were approaching them they were, true to their name, black.
This shot was taken from the road to Glen Brittle.

Nice shot. Love that the clouds are getting darker and more dramatic when the get near the Black Cuillins. Looks like a eerie place from this distance. Nice contrast with the happy purple flower enjoying the sunlight.

Well named picture - indeed the hills are black under that threatening sky! However, I think perhaps the mountains themselves could have been sharper, but I like the contrast with the rolling hills in the foreground!

A very dramatic sky with sharp and beautiful light on the grass. Only not great details on the mountains, but it's difficult with a light like this.
