Photographer's Note
The first day of December dawned cold and frosty, and that was exactly what i wanted!
I drove a few miles to the north from my house at about 7am and just sat in the car, waiting for the light to improve, and it did just that!
As the sun rose behind me, the light started to catch the top of the trees, and that seemed to contrast quite a lot in comparison with the cold frost covered grass below.
I used an ND4 graduated filter

Hi Jamie. Although the weather conditions might have been somewhat extreme, the image resulting from your early planned start is subtle and beautiful. There is a transient mood and a delicate spirit to it. Lovely! Regards. Klaudio.

Hi Jamie,
A beautiful first morning scene, with the mist and the colours entering the sky. I love when the moon stays visible like this too, it can really make a fascinating addition to a capture, like it does here.
