Photographer's Note
I went down to Woody Bay to try and capture the sunset but the cloud cleared away much too quickly, so instead i waited a little while longer and attempted to capture a 'moon at dusk' photo.
As it got darker the wind died out and the tide dropped to expose a lovely area of calm water between the rocks, and i used this area of water in a whole bunch of photos, including this one :)
I used an ND4 Graduated filter

Hello Kevin, you managed to capture a wonderful soft light that adds illumination on the rocks in the foreground. Your image displays a lovely reflection in the water so it was worth waiting for the wind to calm down. The long exposure you chose gives that nice hazy look to the clouds
There are many great qualities to your seascape image.

Even if there were clouds you reached a very beautiful capture...the composition, the colours qualities and your technical skills doing a great work...Good use of graduated filter and long exposure...I like very much this wonderful image...

Nice composition and colours.
I like the foreground with the colourful stones. I like the moon too, but its reflection in the water looks a vit strange.
