Yesterday was cloudy and damp although it was predicted to be hot and sunny, but towards evening i realised that it was hot and sunny, but the hot sunny weather was above 600ft! So i went up to Ventnor Down a couple of hours before sunset.
As i reached the top of the hill i realised that the fog below me looked like an ocean! I drove along the top of the hill and as i did, the view to my west was amazing! Wroxall Down (the hill in the photo) was blocking the sea mist from coming in, so it piled up on the west side of the hill and flowed down the eastern side of the hill like water!
