Photographer's Note

Ludlow is a historic market town in Shropshire close to the Welsh border. This photo was taken in the morning before meeting up with a group of UK TE members in a small town called Church Stretton a little north of here. Thanks to Richard (Ricx), John (Tyro), Wilson (Jaywalker), Will (willperrett),Bev (Royaldevon) and Len and Dave for making the weekend so much fun.
A market has operated on this site close to the castle for over 900 years. Ludlow is set on a cliff above the River Teme and surrounded by very beautiful countryside. There are many old, half-timbered buildings in the town and the castle originates from about 1086.
The man in the picture was making decorative garden dragonflies and was talking to another man working in the market who I think is the same one featured in Tyro's recent upload.
I rather liked the strong red, white and blue theme in the image.
