A harsh frost coats the old footbridge at Shoreham-by-sea, in West Sussex, England. Not one part of the wooden structure has escaped its attention and it has created a sugar-like coating on every surface.

Looks cold. I lost a glove in Nanjing that fell off a bridge rail, as I was too intent on photographing canals. I find that I cannot operate the camera with gloves on. Might have to buy some mittens next winter. Love the low shooting angle here & the linear perspective offered by the frost encrusted bridge. Tfs!

Your close look at the frosted fence and walkway makes an interesting and creative composition Brian. As the weak winter sun rises over the town it sheds the merest hint of pink over the frosted wood. Subtle colours beautifully captured. Enjoy your weekend Rosemary

Wow! A most original shot! I could not decipher it from the thumbnail but so glad I opened it!
This has great composition and a fine sense of perspective. Then, there is the atmosphere that it creates, like something from the Ice Age! Excellent details. A shot to dwell upon and enjoy.

yes, this is very similar to your last Frost photo.
this one is a bit more illuminated, with a hint of an orange glow on the right, split by a colder blue sky on the left!
