Photographer's Note
Threatening clouds promise more snow to come in this lonely location. And perhaps it's time to get back in the car and head for home before it arrives!
A leisurely trip across the Pennines for work allowed me time to divert and take some pictures of the Dales in snow. This is Garsdale station looking west, at this point the sinuous route dictated by the landscape is running West-East even though the thrust of the route is from North to South! This is the route to Skipton and the south.

The first snow of the season Martin? I love the colour palette of bluey-greys and the soft and subtle light. The weak sun trying to shine through the clouds is typical of the season and very attractive. A well composed image. Baking hot here in Namibia so the cool weather has a certain charm for me!
