Photographer's Note
I'm really attracted to some of the grafitti in the Lanes area of Brighton and Hove. This is on the side of a building in Kensington Street, which would be quite a dull back street if it weren't for the attentions of the street artists. I waited for a couple of passers-by to give a sense of scale. It may be vandalism, but Brighton doesn't seem to mind and it gives a sense of humour and vitality to the streets.

An excellent composition of this facade with lots of artwork. The people walking are well placed in the frame. The colors and sharpness are superb. It is a very creative image.

fun play on reality vs illusion...
so interesting, what you have here is what i presume to be a muslim woman (don't know about the guy) stepping into a cartoonish western culture... an interesting commentary on contemporary times ~ this is not your mother's england! ;)
the colours are a visual treat ~ the shades of the young woman's tunic are repeated in the side street art, and then again in the books & mountains on the principal painting.

This is brilliant, it seems like these two people have just walked into a living cartoon, such beautiful vibrant colors and excellent drawings. The inclusion of the more somber looking cartoon on the left gives a strange contrast to the main scene, like they are walking from one tv show to another. Very cool capture, cheers

Hello Will,
I just saw your link to this photo in one of your critiques today. I didn't see it before but it's a delightful snap of people walking straight into a sitting room painted on a wall. You saw a good opportunity and waited patiently for the right persons to enter inside your frame. It's a good piece of graffiti but would have been so much less interesting without the right photographer capturing it.
