Photographer's Note
Life on a houseboat moored on the River Adur in Shoreham-by-sea, West Sussex is probably just like anybody else’s, albeit aboard a wooden structure sitting in the mud of the riverbank. Mail still has to be delivered and this particular boat has a very ornate mailbox to facilitate that very purpose.

That's and interesting picture whitch shows an non usual way of life! Every thing seems to be old except the moorings ! an may be the TV inside ?? The TV antenna replace the radar antenna. is it working for navigation ??

Hello Brian,a lovely presentation of the house boat in its environment,the mail box is of course a big ,big plus being well postitioned in the frame.Nice strong composition under a moody sky which has given these very pleasing colours.

one more time an interesting capture from around that location beside that river, the houseboats seem to have there a great tradition.. is there anytime water around that boat (flood?), newvetheless a fine picture with good colors, great motive and perfect composition..

meni osebno so scene, kakršna je ta zelo pri srcu. tukaj je velik razpon različnih barvnih tonov, ki so lahko tudi zelo kontrastni.

i like these England photos you have, as well as the greek photos.
looking at the lower fg, there is alot of textures and different shapes well worth the view.
that is a very unique mailbox, character and charm in full bloom.
i find myself searching for new and interesting elements in this one
