Photographer's Note
Another view from the summit of Mt Snowdon. This time looking roughly North West toward Caernarfon and Anglesey.
As mentioned on my previous image from the summit, this was one of the very few days each year when wonderful views were available at the top.

Hi Keith, Just stunning- As you say it is not often you get such a wide view- You have captured it well, with fine detail.. We were up the Malverns yesterday and it cleared up beautifully in the late afternoon -- Not as beautifull as Mt S, but still very beautiful. Thanks for presenting. Rich

Hello Keith,
Before reading your comment, I was thinking of the Brecon Beacons. These 2 areas of Wales do have much in common re. the shape and colours of the hills.
Lovely capture of the place.

Hi Keith,
Nice panorama! The view is really breathtaking, and I like the shadows created by the clouds. The hint of sunlight hitting the hills shows off this beautiful expanse and the light is well managed. Good perspective and composition.
Thanks for sharing!

Hello Keith
Good shot. Lovely scene.
I was wondered whether there were trees on UK hills before. All seemed barren with short grass and stones.
Good for pictures though.

Sam

Greetings Keith,
A lucky man - while I was at university in Keele, near Stoke-on-Trent I used to climb quite regularly in North Wales, without ever seeing the top of Snowdon; including the day we abandoned climbing because the mist was so thick and hiked to the top.
This is a wonderful shot with classic North-Wales light - that wonderful dappled mix of sunlight and cloud-shadow. Great work, thanks, Iain

Hello Kieth. I must say I love the long view offered here and the combined colorful shaded tones on the hillside because of the clouds above. These are times when you really know and feel inside that the land that you are looking at is simply beautiful in its natural setting. Great capture.

Hi Keith,
this landscape looks so soft that I wish I could touch it and feel its softness! LOL Really... I wonder if this effect is because of the colours... of this beautiful game of light and shadows?
I think it's a perfect composition. And I also like very much the quiet colours :)
The landscape has a dreamy look!
kind regards,
aka fanni :)

Hi Keith
Well, i don't blame you for wanting to hike this beauty.
how long of a hike is it?
and it doesn't look like there are any marked trails, is that correct? I also like the fact the land is so barren, to large trees in the landscape until the far reaches on the bg. Love the combination of light and shadows from the clouds above.
well done
cheers

Hi Keith,
Great shot, and great light with good visibility. As you said, one of those rare days with such visibility. I have seen many images from this part and many are mostly with partial view and not very good light. Here even with some cloud, the view if clear and with patches of light peaking through, make it more interesting and provide contrast on the hills. It is an excellent POV with the lake/pond perfect situated and the ridge of the hill leading in and ziczac into the distance and down into he sea level with nice view of the bay. The clouds soften the light without generating too much contrast, all is even exposed. A very good quality shot with warm golden light and beautiful composition. Congrats.

Hello Keith,
Marvelous multi-colors display over the slopes of Mount Snowdon. Exceptional sense of depth from the summit to the coastal planes beyond. Found it on the map at 53.0705,-4.081 .
Wonderful landscape picture.
Good afternoon,
Ike
*** As for your latest critique on my horse picture: when you encounter a rider on a horse, and he voluntary stopped and enable me to take the photo - one never hasitate for taking the action, no matter from where the light comes from.
Thanks anyway.
