Photographer's Note
GoMA is the second most visited contemporary art gallery outside London. It offers a thought-provoking programme of temporary exhibitions and workshops. GoMA displays work by local and international artists. It also addresses contemporary social issues through its major biannual projects.
The Gallery of Modern Art opened in 1996 and is housed in an elegant, neo-classical building in the heart of Glasgow city centre. The building was refurbished to house the city’s contemporary art collection, and is an appealing combination of old and new architecture. It incorporates a number of artists’ commissions.

Excellent shot! The elliptical ceiling and all other geometrical shapes add new look to this photograph. I think, we can find all the most commonly used geometrical shapes in this shot :) ... Nice capture...

Hello Deniz,
This is a spendid architecture shot. The repetition of ovals in all forms in the hall is amazing, and you captured it extremely well. I like the tight framing, with the railing "just" fitting into your picture. The choice of b&w was essential. Congratulation! Dasha

That tiny fragment of your photo... That tiny rectangular cluster of pixels right in the middle of it - sets this photo apart from the myriads of basically the same content.
That tiny silhouette in there - makes that photo a giant among the dwarfs of so called: The architecture photography'.
Your eye, Deniz. Your mind...
What a great substitutes for the camera and lenses and sensors and shutter and tripods, and all that crap that comes within.

The essence is truly what your mind sees and interprets and decides on the final frame..which is why you make a photo and not a picture..G is right..they are but disractions..they get in the way like...
I was interacting with a p'journalist..and i was mentioning the relevance of "numbers" you know..the f-stops..the focal lenght..iso..etc..he like all other and myself agreed that it really doesn't matter..the final production is what counts..they are just gimmicks..
Indeed "the eye" and "the mind"..you use them well Deniz.

Hi, Deniz.
Geometry in photography is not my cup of tee but I have to admit that this picture is georgious !
You are a very good "big eye", you see the enourmous scenes and compositions, and you have always a perfect command of light.
Rezpekt.

Hi Deno!
Really outstanding piece of art photography, tremendous use of the wide angle, and creative explotation of its distortions, to create a fantastic graphic result! Amazing shapes in this universe of ovals, and the key presence of the man on a key spot! Perfect choice of b&w! Congratulations!

Beautiful shot! The curved graphic symmetry of your shot captures the architects dream so well and as we all can tell the guy leaving adds your own dreamlike moment - I would have been tempted to burn the guy's head in a little just to add the sharpness of his full silhouette to the scene .....but you are flying my friend!

Hi lord Enrico,
I wondered what you saw in UK and I found this photo. I remember it well, fantastic shot in b&w. We see here a lot of ovals, parabolas, maybe even hyperbola. I was in this museum and probably even on these stairs but I haven't noticed the potential of interesting photo in it. You were lucky to see the man in the white rectangle and the timing was perfect. Or maybe you were just patient and waited for him.
After a few years it is fun to read the critiques and replies to them. There is never so bad that it couldn't be worse?
I hope to see something a bit similar tomorrow but I doubt if I will be so successful with a photo.
M.
