Hi Maciej,
Are you sure you're not advertising for Ernst and Young? ;) Interesting shot, interesting story!

Really funny Maciek! Honestly. Half way between Monty Python and Mary Poppins. These Brits are completly nuts ;o)

Maciej
very funny shot.
I like the good mood of this photograph with this relaxed guy and his useless umbrella
the red color is a good thing too.

Funny shot, guy expression and story, Maciej.
Do you sleep with your 20D under the pillow just in case? ;)

What an hilarious shot, and a good indication of the curious winter dress that some of the younger UK citizens wear in the evenings. Apart from all that, a brilliant compo too.

Funny capture, Maciej... There is something strange in both this photo and the WS, kind of mirror image... Quite strange but funny to see. Thanks.

Hi Macieh,
What I like in this picture is that you made a photograph out of almost nothing, it's so natural, and nobody would think of taking it. The mood, the exposure all perfect. Izzet Keribar

haha, what a wondeful picture. Proof that you don't need to be in India to have eye catching photos! :)
I love the composition and the expression on his face.

Amazing color and sharpness at ISO 1600. At least from this shot I'd say the 20D is living up to its reputation for incredibly low noise at high ISO settings. Nicely composed as well Maciek, with the distant lights and cars on this cobbled street adding context and depth. I know the red of the umbrella is seductive, but I can't help but wonder how this would appear in black and white. Fine work regardless.

ok so i've managed to open this page
so like i was saying A VERY BOLLYWOODY photograph hehe. seems like india is really rubbing off on you :)
i can imagine a song playing in the background, the rain pouring chhama chham chham, the hero singing to the woman on his phone and obviously the next scene shifs to her
iso 1600 wow!!! you know. this seems pretty grainless for 1600 how did you manage that?
also... the photogrpah is extremely clear for a 1/40 second exposure.
very nice colours on the whole
how many days left for india??
take care
Kicka

Funny shoot Maciek. Maybe he should sing... I'm singing in the rain, though it's not raining. I like your new shoots from Cardiff, seems like you have coming over the problem wiht taking photographs of people in wales. How did you manage to do that, I wish I had the courage.... (well maybe not in wales, but anyway)

Czesc Maciek. Podoba mi sie to zdjecie a w szczegolnosci uchwycona chwila szczescia tego chlopaka. Wydaje sie jakby mial zaraz uniesc sie w powietrze razem z parasolem przy najmniejszym nawet podmuchu wiatru. Zyczyl bym sobie zawsze takiego humoru. Bardzo dobry pomysl, okazuje sie ze czasami najprostsze ujecie jest swietnym zdjeciem. Pozdrawiam

Hi Maciek,
Excellent excellent portrait. I love the way the umbrella occupies most of the photo, and the guy's expression.
Its interesting to see both photos, as this one is a lot more flattering to the guy than thte other one, in the other one he seems to have doubled his weight.
Regards
Daniel
