The Southern Isles of the Orkneys are joined to the mainland by what is know as Churchill's Causeway, a relic of WW11. The largest village with the unusual name of St Margaret's Hope is the subject of these three photos.
In the main one we see the village centre which, as is common in the Orkneys, is beside the water- very quiet but I did manage to get a couple of people for a human touch.
In the WS are a waterfront photo with several houses having boat ramps and a back street photo.
