Photographer's Note
I had few time to explore the many corner of this town, here I decided to see what would be in the streets in parallel with the famous Princess Street and I found this nudist couple and their sons. In the BG you can see the famous Scot Monument, the largest dedicated for a writer.
PS: Curious as the human nudity, in most of cultures, can be so powerful and scary when it is made of flesh, not so when it is made of stone, metal or mud.

Tive pouco tempo para explorar as muitas possibilidades que essa cidade oferece, aqui eu estava querendo saber o que haveria nas ruas paralelas à famosa Princess Street e me deparei com esse casal nudista e seus filhos. Ao fundo temos uma ponta do monumento à Scot, o maior dedicado a um escritor no mundo.

Bonne idée de cadrage intégrant deux édifices avec un premier plan d'un immeuble bénéficiant d'un décor de luxe.
Le noir et blanc convient bien à cette composition.

Hello Jorge, These sculptures of the nude people look a bit socrealistic. striking contrast with the neo-Gothic Scott Monument behind. Interesting composition.

The both statues be perfect made through the artist, but also nice photographed.

Hello Jorge,
You pose an interesting question. Sometimes even real persons have been sculptured naked, even though in their lifetime they would never have appeared publicly undressed. These statues are rather obscene for showing the adults using their children for hiding their genitalia. Shocking, isn't it? ;-)
But it's a nice photo of several vertical elements side by side, but of very different styles. A neo-gothic tower next to the statues that remind me of the social realism of the Soviet and eastern Europe..

Hello Jorge,
I've been to Edinburgh several times but never seen (or noticed) these statues!( I'm always willing to learn!)
I wonder why the artist decided to make the statues naked! Was there some significance to the building!
Anyway, with their strong, vertical lines, they make an artistic and interesting f/g feature, linking to the Scott Memorial in the b/g.

you are right that we have double standards in our societies. Artists can do whatever they want.
Nice composition with the Scot's monument adding a recognizable feature to the scene.
I suppose it was taken still before you were rubbing the nose of the dog :)
Black and white rescued the picture.
