Photographer's Note
another scotish castle(cant remember the name),another scotish moody sky and the curius are those rail tracks that stop suddenly,,,like leading in nowhere(maybe the tracks continue underwater).the photo was taken with an olympus camera,,and thats all the technical part i remember.the other curius is that although it looks like a lake is the sea with low tide.

Strange tracks. I'm guessing that these are for launching boats when the water is low, or for heavier boats that are launched from a rail-carriage-bed-thing and therefore need to be lower in the water than the slip-way on the right. However, I am enamoured with your notion of an underground railway. The bleak romanticism of the idea fits this scene rather well.
I like the composition with all the lines leading to the castle, though I would question whether the chives are one feature too many? The castle is a great focus by itself, so the mood and solitude might be better served without the distraction of a second focus?
Good use of a cloudy day, I say!

Really nice composition. The tracks and the stonework combine really well to draw the eye into the picture and towards the castle.
A couple of minor points though. The plant (thrift?) in the foreground works well as it's colours aren't intrusive, but it would have been better in focus I think. Also, the horizon has a slight tilt. Great for waterskiing without a boat but better corrected in a landscape photo. :-)
Nice work all the same.

POV is good - but I'd prefer a tighter crop - see my workshop.

I prefer the prototype ,have something declining...,is no necesery the foto always to be tecnical perfect,in oposite needs sometimes to be some how,to declare the atmospfere of the environment.Buy the way , this iron rops use to conect the castle whith the land, whith one small ship.Efi the foto is realy exellend, for me.

Hola Efi.
Buena composición y buen uso de la luz en la foto. Simple, pero bonita. Los colores y la definición son muy buenos.
Un saludo.

I like this pic way better than the other one I criticized just a minute ago.
Very sharp, a really nice composition, playing with the POV, the little flowers add something really special and it's got a great sky. The wooden part the flowers stand on add some special dynamics.
Pictures like this one always will get a good mark ;-)

Great wide open composition. The rails make a wonderful and curious leading line right to the castle. The colors are wonderfully subtle and the variety of textures is very nice. Well done.

Nice shot, maybe is a haunted castle, who knows , and the rail is used for a fast escape underwater
