Hello Ian,
The whole of the Isle-of-Skye offer a wonderful exploring area to Geologists (and common people like tourists), as we can observe the earth ancient activity along the roads.
Water level marks on the rocks are evident of tides in this region.

Hello Ian,
The boats and the building make the WS interesting, but this is the more dynamic composition. It is well balanced and makes me wonder how these two hills were once separated.

Hello Ian,
Two good photographs and I agree with your main choice.
The sea is used so well to drive our attention between the two cliffs and on into the distance, where the misty land creates a strong sense of distance.

The wideness of the sea is creating depth. The point of view is showing the details of the coast and of the cliff. The light is giving good colors output. Have a nice day.

Do both parts of the land we see here belong to the same island (or peninsula), Skye?
Especially that large perpendicular cliff in the middle of the photo seems particularly beautiful and spectacular.

Hi Ian,
Amazing coastal views from the Scottish Highlands.
In spite of the coudy sky the light was fantastic here and it helped to capture the sight in fantastic well saturated colors.
Very encouraging for a trip to the north!

Beautiful sea view between two landmasses to further back where cliffs mountains disappear to mist. That almost vertical cliff is amazing.

Impressive coastal landscape with these two cliffs that seem to face each other, with a wonderful blue sea between them.
