Photographer's Note
In this picture you can see the Kelvingrove Art Gallery, one of the most important places to visit in Glasgow. There were two items on display which I really wanted to see in this gallery. One of them I will upload into the workshop, simply because it is a photo of the painting to which I didn’t add any particular composition. The second one will make a separate presentation soon.
I have heard about this painting (see the workshop) many years ago. Long before I thought I will be ever able to travel abroad. When I was young I was quite engaged in various Christian organizations for young people. I spent a lot of time in the church on meditation. I remember at certain point one of my friends brought with him the little reproduction of this painting and we spend a lot of time meditating it. It is called 'Christ of St John of the Cross' by Salvador Dali. It is an image of crucifixion which was painted by Dali but in his honesty he mentioned that he sourced the idea for this painting from the sketch made by St John of the Cross. St John (1542 – 1591) is one of the Doctors of the Church, people who are believed to have special impact on the development of the Christian Faith. What is special about this painting is the perspective. While most crucifixion images look at the cross from the human perspective, this one looks as if seen by someone from above.
When I heard that this unique painting can be seen in Kelvingrove Art Gallery, I knew I want to visit this place. Sadly I had a very brief encounter with this work of art. But at least I have a satisfaction that I have my own photo of it (in the workshop).

Hello Mariusz,
Ah, yes, I though I recognised the building, but I only saw it on a grey and rainy day, so all the sunshine and the well-saturated colours are new for me. You captured the art gallery from a great angle. Very well done.

Hello Mariusz,
The museum itself is a work of art. The architecture and red color are beautiful, and I would probably spend more time studying the building than the art inside. The large size also conveys a very majestic feeling. Take care!

Czesc Mariusz
Piekny architektonicznie budynek tego muzeum, w fotografii nawet chmury ladnie sie ulozyly.
Ciekawe zdjecie w warsztacie. Faktycznie niespotykania w malarstwie perspektywa ukrzyzowanego Chrystusa.
Swietna prezentacja
pozdrawiam

Hi Mariusz
The house I grew up in was called Kelvin Grove perhaps named after this splendid building by the builder and original occupant.
A good photo looking along the building and an interesting WS with the Dali painting.
cheers

Hello Mariusz,
Dali's painting indeed approaches the crucifixion from a special angle.
Your main picture is a beautiful postcard of Glasgow.
Wonderful architecture presented from a good angle.
The red building block emphasizes the building between the green hedge and lawn and the blue of the sky.
The fact that you saw Glasgow in clear weather probably made you pay much attention to the sky in this photo.
Best regards, Paul

Hello Mariusz.
Impressive and grandiose building, a beautiful brick construction, all that number of towers and large windows give an ideal touch to this beautiful building, you fulfilled one of your dreams to see that famous painting by Dalí, I knew it from seeing it in a photo and not I knew he was in this place.
Very nice color, in some tones, very attractive.
Optimum management of luminosity and magnificent sharpness.
Very well done. I like it.
All the best and have a good start of the week.
Luis.

Hello Mariusz,
A very elaborate edifice, its brick cololr goes well with the green around it and the blue above it. I like the painting in the WS, too.
Regards,
MT
