The wonderful park in the heart of Edinburgh.
My third picture to conclude this small series about the wide green-lung of the Meadow from the lawn, with a different point as shown on this picture and yet another on this picture.

Its history goes back to the 17th century as it was a small lake and drained, also it became important venue with the city football game development. The Edinburgh Meadows located between and around the A700 road and North-Meadows-Walk, the large park “bordering” several of the city quarters, mostly near the university area. Here we see a modern dwelling recently completed nearing with older era buildings.
