Photographer's Note
Good Morning Everyone,
I hope you are all staying safe in your homes, with more time than usual to browse your archives and check TE.
My photograph was taken at the entrance to Dunbar Harbour. We were quietly watching these two fishermen, patiently fishing with rods. I was also, discretely manoeuvring my camera to get the best shot of them, perhaps as a silhouette!
Suddenly, the peace was disturbed by the arrival of the fishing boat, heading towards the inner harbour, creating waves all around!
The fisherman looked up ... and looked at one another!!!
I wonder who had had the most success, the rod fishermen or the net fishermen! 🤔

The red fishing boat added a superb sense of motion to the scene, Beverley.
The timing was perfect, combined with the two men fishing that were a bit disturb as their posing suggest.

Hello Bev,
This is a delightful photo, most certainly much better than the one you had been planning to take. The small boat is incredibly colourful and "cute". The human action in the foreground and the view of the sea and the strip of distant land provide perfect complements to the composition. I have no idea how much fish anyone caught, but you found a catchy title!

Beverley, nice scene captured on the coastline. The two anglers are watching the fishing boat. It will make the fish go with its engine, its noise and the waves it creates. A far off isolated hill appears in the bg. Fine colors, good sharpness, interesting photo note, regards.

excellent flagrant with the fisher well positioned and the boat in movement. I liked the interaction between these personages and the boat.lovely view of the bird and the landscape with an isolated hill ahead.
here the mayors of my region are having a meeting to decide if they will more flexible the rules of the quarantine. at same time the first people with the virus was noticed in my region, in a small city near us.

Bonjour, chère Bev,
Confinement oblige, je garde la maison ou la maison me garde, c'est selon ! J'ai la chance de posséder un jardin et un environnement calme et propice à la venue d'oiseaux différents.
J'aime ce bateau de pêche qui regagne le port (il est vrai que cela gêner les pêcheurs à la ligne), mais selon les lois maritimes, l'on ne doit pas pêcher à l'entrée d'un port (sauf erreur).

with the interruption of the boat, this probably has more to say than the photo you were planning. The red boat certainly pops out of the scene and the fishermen anchor down the composition

Hello Beverley,
A great view across the water with this colourful fishing boat arriving in the harbour and adding some bright colours to this cloudy day as well. Excellent inclusion of the two fishermen in the foreground as well. There is a remarkably steep hill on the other side as well.

Hello Beverley, from the thumbnail, I thought that this was Plymouth! There are many boats like this that come into harbour here.
I like the composition with the men fishing in the foreground.
And how timely, the small boat with its colourful floats coming into view at just the right time.
All in excellent sharpness.
(Staying home as we have been told!)

Hi Bev,the arrival of fishing boat make the difference and give a touch of colors in this composition, creating a surprise for the 2 man fishing from this terrace,good memory from your archive made in the usual excellent quality. I thought things were better but today the data on the infections have been disheartening and the elderly die as the ripe apples fall from the tree, I am really sad. hello Bev, With the boat with these colourful balls the picture is much more interesting than what you had planned to take. Interesting note and catchy title.
I stay home on quarantine but after it, I will stay home either. Of course, I browse my disks but my pictures are still very fresh. Take care.

this is where you begin to feel jealous haha...the men are out to fish, to have a great time...then they see a fishing boat pass by and go...crap...hahaha. and I see you even captured a sea plane in the upper bg too. A fine shot in this overcast light, kinda funny too :) cheers
