Hello Roseamry,

Now, this one deserves a lot more acclaim than it has thus far received!

A lovely photograph from a hight viewpoint across Tobermory bay with the brightly coloured seafront houses just peeking out through the shrubbery and with a fine distant view to sunlit hills. The colourful foreground flowers add depth to the picture and the whole composition is very pleasing.

Gorgeous colours, lovely light, perfect exposure and your usual exquisite sharpness.

P.S. A good link to your previous picture from here but I think you might have made a little mistake when "closing" the link - are you sure that you added a "" after the word "here"? :) Very easily done!

P.P.S. And haven't I seen this picture before on a "Beautiful Scotland" calendar? Sorry, only joking - isn't that absolutely disgraceful what has come to light over the past few days? People uploading pictures copied from National Geographic! I ask you, what is the point?

Hi Rosemary,
I am enjoying your pictures so much and I hope you don't mind if I say that the sky perhaps lets this down just a touch. It is not so much the weak colours of the sky itself but more the contrast with the darker and more punchy FG and buildings. A great POV - well done.

Hi Rosemary,
There is a nice amount of depth to your shot from the foreground to the background providing us with lovely details all the way through, from those beautiful purple flowers to the buildings along and the well lit hill in the distance. A pleasing shot to look at.
