An early morning view across the River Adur at the old wooden footbridge that spans the river at Shoreham-by-sea in West Sussex, England. A severe frost has coated everything with ice as the low sun rises and attempts to warm the atmosphere.

Hello Brian,
I had to look twice at the date before I realised that this was taken a while ago,so far this winter we have escaped the frosts of a while back.
The complementary colours of pink and silvery blue work ever so well in bringing a wintry atmosphere to the scene.

Beautiful combination of ice and fire with resulting contrast between cool and warm hues. The frost-covered vegetation in the foreground is matches the colour of the bridge.

You choose a very well angle this cares for depth and perspective.

The hoarfrost on the ground and the blue bridge divides the picture beautifully. The warm colours of the sky are in a perfect harmony with the colder parts below. A very peaceful and pleasant picture.

A lovely sunrise over the pier with wonderful warm cold color contrasts between the orange skies and blue tinted jetty and water. Good sharpness and nice repetition of patterns and shapes. The haze has acted as a natural filter to avoid the harsh glare and oe of the sun. Tfs!
