Photographer's Note
For some reason the entrance to the Grand Designs exhibition in Birmingham last month had this huge tower of gin bottles at it's centre. I never really worked out if it was more than jsut a simple promotion, or what it had to do with the theme of the event, but in it's way it was certainly a grand design.

I'll have one if you don't mind. I'm not really sure about the colours here, Richard. They remind me of the Pink Panther, Peter Sellers, aso... Honest, I don't know what to think about this one, but it definitely makes me thirsty. So, how have you been?

Une image impressionnante ! J'imagine la patience qu'il a fallu pour empiler ce nombre incroyable de bouteille ! Les couleurs de ta prise de vue sont sympas. Je me demande si un cadrage en contre plongée encore plus prononçé n'aurait pas été encore plus impressionant !

Hi Richard,
A fun one, the pyramid with the multiplication of bottles if nice and graphic already, but with the pink color it gets even better, not sure if it's so in the UK but in France (very) drunk people are said to see pink elephants !

Well, Richard, from the thumbnail, I thought that you had discovered an exotic chedi. However, it is one of England’s great gifts to the world. There should have been a tower of tonic too. It certainly makes a strange and attractive image. Regards Kevin
