Photographer's Note
Although I have lived in England for over ten years now and thought I had got used to the idea that there is more to England than the tourist images one sees of wonderful and historical London, Oxford and Cambridge and some of the images of the Coastal villages.. I still remain fascinated how it is constantly changing from season to season, from region to region.. Benny V commented on a previous photo of how it could be in Canada.. this one made me think of an African teme..???

hello Rich ,
An african look , no doubt ! I suppose that is the shape of the tree that gives this impression . The composition is splendid , in this vertical format . The orange tree emerging of the yellow field , contrasting superbly with the stormy sky .
Great !

Hi Rich,
I agree, there is something African about the shape of that tree. The strong yellows and mystical sky behind compliment each other beautifully. Excellent capture.
Best wishes

Nello Rich,
Superb image, no doubt, the vertical format works very well in this case.
The lonely tree is a pleasant subject, and I like a lot the contrast between the yellow color and the grey of the stormy sky. The quality is excellent indeed.
Congratulations and TFS.
Best regards

Hallo Rich,
This is the dream of every photomaker, such colors and light, the tree is excelent, could be painted.
Personally I would have gone a few steps back,to get more vieuw over the field and most important,to get the tree outcentered, mmore out of the middle ;+]]

I am sureRich, if Microsoft is looking for the new image for their new edition of windows, they have got one such beautiful image. The empty space on the top of the shot provided depth of the field. Its the golden bath at the bottom of the shot which mesmirizes you into a fantasy land.
Congrats for the splendid capture.

Rajeev

Glorious colour here and an interesting format with a 'big sky' that works very well. Super quality - love it! I like the tree being central as well.

Hello Rich,
What a gorgeous landscape, and so beautifully captured. The blooming rapeseed field is brilliantly lit up by a shaft of sunlight and the shimmering golden leaves look magnificent against the dark blue backdrop. The vertical framing suits the subject perfectly and gives a nice sens of space and depth. Really beautiful.
Kind regards,
Christian

Richard
Amicalement

Hi Rick
yes, you are right, it seems a tree from savana. I love in this photo the tree that seems exited under the sky after to make a hole on the bloomed yellow land. their color are the same :-). the composition is winner, like also the magnificent yellow-blue contrast.
have a nice evening

Hi Rich!
I like them both, but I understand why you chose this one! The sky in layers is just great!I like the dark background in contrast with the sunny foreground, where the tree is. Very good colours also!

Hello Rich,
I like the vertical position, because it
emphasize extra the yellow tree and the
yellow leaves on the ground and it
emphasize also extra the layers in the
picture (and that creates a nice depth).
Light mangement and composition are also
great.
Friendly regards,
Robert
