Photographer's Note
Another Autumn scene ,the cutting of Maize for cattle feed over winter, quiet a new thing in the UK but becoming more common sight(see Lizard-Ladys maize mazes). the whole plant is cut off at ground level leaves cobs and all are chopped up, taken back to the farm where it is stored in very tightly packed pit called a clamp where it stays edible because of the lack of air and a little fermentation till wanted in the middle of winter.
Ajustments,
open and crop to 29.5 X 14 @600dpi
check levels
saturation +8 &lightness +3
brightness +3 & contrast +6
use selective colour set on green and bost the yellow +6 & black +13 to improve the overal greens in the pic as they seemed a little flat, had a circular poloriser fitted for this shot as some of the attemps had a lot of sky in them.
unsharp mask 130% X3.4 Px X threshold of 1
Save to disc as PSD. in case I want to print
image size reduce to &"dpi X800px wide & save to web

I liked the photo because I love pictures related with transports. Thanks for being so patient inyou description, wich makes me see more importance in the picture.
Just a question? How does the Selective color works? You saind that selected the green and boosted to yellow????
I'm new in digital photos and note very experienced in photoshop.
