Photographer's Note

The village of Craster is named after the Craster family that owned the estate in which the village lies. The present harbour was built in 1906. Today Craster is probably best known for its oak-smoked kippers which are prepared and sold in the village.

For this shot it was the colourful rowing boat pulled up on the shore that caught my eye.
