Photographer's Note
This was taken from the Foxton Road which runs up and over from Alnmouth and the river's estuary which is a fantastic place to photograph a huge variety of wild life.
I have used an HDR plugin and removed some noise as I wanted to really emphasize the early evening light and and give it a softer look at the same time.
Not sure how successful it is but I liked it anyway.Hope you do do.

Hello Marion,
what a interesting composition and framework as well. Magnificent place and surrounding. I like this POV and DOF too. Perfectly well done.
All the best and have a nice WE,

Marion
I like the softness of the tones here and the HDR is not obtrusive as it sometimes is. It's a river I'd like to paddle down one of these days.
I presume this is on the tidal stretch of the river, judging by the foreground.

Wow Marion, I haven't seen anything from you using HDR, and honestly I find it most of the time too overpowering and un-natural, but here you've dipped this photo gently into your Mind's Eye POV and it looks great!! Love the colors and the light management, with superb clarity and DOF. I really do like this photo Marion, great job!!
