A really good use of limited colour in B&W here - excellent - a great backdrop to this tiny little fellow - the sky is bizarre - the composition very interesting!

I have lived in York for over 10 years and I have never noticed this view of the edge of cliffords tower a really nice sharp well composed photo

Very cool photograph, although the description is humorous the photo in itself I find rather serious and far from the reality.

Hello Maeva,
Congratulations! This is one of the best photographs I have came across on Trek Earth today! It really is a special one; it has many delightful elements, such as the eye-catching serves of the hill, the upfront lamppost, the quaint York buildings and the swirling sky above. But of course, the most fascinating thing is the young knight, very well selected in colour. This colour in an otherwise black and white scene very much reminds me of the tragic tale of Schindler’s List, where there is a little girl dressed in red (the only colour in the movie). Thank you for evoking this emotion. A remarkably composed photograph.
